Clinical Prosthetics I (DENT 3008)
This course is designed to provide the necessary theoretical information concerning the biological, physiological and psychological implications of complete denture therapy. All phases of denture fabrication are covered from initial patient contact to oral health maintenance. The treatment procedures include single dentures opposing natural dentition or an existing denture, transitional and immediate dentures, overdentures, repairs and relines.
