Vancouver Community College ratifies agreement with the VCC Faculty Association

Vancouver, B.C. — The collective agreement between Vancouver Community College (VCC) and the VCC Faculty Association (VCCFA) at the college has been fully ratified for three years from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025 under the Shared Recovery Mandate.

The VCC Faculty Association is a member of the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators, Local 15. The agreement has been ratified by VCCFA members, the college’s Board of Governors and the Post-Secondary Employers’ Association (PSEA) Board of Directors.

The agreement covers approximately 890 faculty members who deliver trades, health sciences, design, academic upgrading, university transfer, instructor training, and ESL instruction at the college.

Negotiations under the Shared Recovery Mandate support the provincial government’s key priorities to improve public services, while supporting the Province’s continued economic recovery for all.
