Fall 2023 Student Awards recap
On Friday, Nov. 24, Vancouver Community College was pleased to honour 214 deserving students at the Fall 2023 Student Awards ceremonies held at the Broadway campus.
The morning ceremony recognized VCC students from the Centre for Continuing Studies, the School of Hospitality, Food Studies, and Business, and the School of Health Sciences.
The afternoon ceremony awarded students from the School of Trades, Technology and Design, the Division of Library, Teaching and Learning Services, the School of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Music.
Both ceremonies wrapped up with a tea reception, where students had the chance to thank and meet their respective award donors.

Each year, VCC Foundation chooses one or more outstanding student award recipients to highlight in a video feature. This fall’s spotlight is on Coast Capital Trades award recipients Leah Moon, VCC Baking student; Mahto Boneshirt, VCC Culinary Arts student; Drake Dickart, VCC Auto Collision and Repair student; and VCC Music student Kian Jafari, recipient of the Kathy Kidd Scholarship.
