Whether it’s a pastry blender, stainless steel frying pan, makeup kit, or stethoscope, specialized training tools are an essential part of the hands-on learning experience at Vancouver Community College.
And now it’s even easier for VCC students to buy required supplies for the new term, without ever leaving home.
New this winter, the VCC Bookstore has expanded the online shopping experience to go well beyond traditional textbooks. Students can now shop online for e-books and a variety of school supplies that are required for studies in culinary arts and baking, hair design, esthetics, health sciences, and others.
“It’s convenient, especially for busy students who have longer commutes,” says Helena Carmo, VCC Bookstore manager. “Students can shop any time, fill their online shopping cart with books and supplies, and check out using credit card or PayPal.”
Orders are available to pick up or students can choose to ship directly to a home address, which takes a few days (standard shipping rates apply).
