There's a reason community is in our name.
A record number of employees participated in Vancouver Community College's 2013 United Way fundraising campaign called 10 Days of Giving.
This year, employees who made a donation to United Way had their name automatically entered into a draw for prizes, which were also generously donated by members of the VCC community.
Prizes included gift baskets, gift certificates to spas and fancy restaurants, and even a weekend getaway in Whistler, offered by a VCC employee who has property there.
Through VCC's 10 Days of Giving Campaign, 80 employees pledged $10,748 for United Way.
VCC extends a warm thank you to all those who donated prizes and pledged money to United Way. Without you, there would be no way.
