VCC Strategic Plan 2011-2014

All systems go!

VCC President Kathy Kinloch calls it a ‘game-changer’ for the college; the 2011-2014 Strategic Plan was launched on Friday, Oct. 28 during VCC Day.

Kinloch says, “We want to make this Strategic Plan so much more than a plan. We want it to come to life as a vibrant reality that helps shape the future we all envision for this amazing college.”

Board of Governors Chair Don Fairbairn says, "This Strategic Plan charts a course for VCC to become a leader in job training and education and more relevant in a rapidly-evolving job market. The planning process helped to identify our priorities, which in turn evolved into strategic themes that represent the areas of organizational focus for VCC over the next three years. The plan itself is a tool for affecting positive change by linking intentions, plans and actions.”

The plan launched on VCC Day; a time for staff, faculty and college administrators to learn, grow and participate in a variety of workshops and seminars designed to energize, inspire and help the college move forward.
