Art of Henna/Mehndi - Level 1 (MKUP 1111)

Henna is a traditional form of body art which is all natural and temporary. It has become extremely popular in the Lower Mainland amongst all communities and cultures. Students will learn history of this art, properties of henna, oxidation process of henna, basic design elements, basic and bridal design formation, mixing natural henna paste, rolling cones, filling cones, after-care of henna, health and safety regulations for this body art. (12 hours)
