Fees
VCC is proud of its high-quality programs and the value they offer students. Tuition varies by program and length of study; please see your program's page in the online calendar for full tuition and fee details.
Tuition, student union fees and some other costs are payable in advance. An application fee is required for most programs.
Payment of Fees
Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Your registration is not complete until fees are paid. A student who registers but does not pay may have their registration cancelled and will not receive credit for the course or program.
You can pay with cash, personal cheque, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit card, Passport to Education, money order or certified cheque. Post-dated cheques are not accepted. If you are being sponsored by an outside agency must present a letter to that effect from the sponsoring agency before or at the time of registration.
If you require financial assistance to pay tuition fees, you should contact the Financial Aid Office at least eight weeks prior to the start of the class. You can make a request for a fee deferral through the Registrar's Office prior to the registration deadline or payment due date.
VCC determines tuition fees by term for full-time programs. You must pay for each term on time or a late payment fee is assessed.
VCC does not allow students with outstanding tuition fees to attend classes and discontinues such students from the program or course. Reinstatement into the program or course requires permission from the Dean as well as payment of outstanding debts. VCC charges a reinstatement fee in addition to the regular fees.
The Cashiers' Office Maintains Current Fee Schedules.
* Note: all fees are subject to change without notice.

Student Union Fees
All students must pay a Student Union fee at the time of registration.
The Student Union membership fee provides the necessary funds to allow the association to carry out the functions normally attributed to such an association, including proper representation both within and outside VCC, socials and other association/student functions.
International Students
The domestic fees and Financial Aid support mentioned here do not apply to international students.
Please view all applicable fees for International Students.
Tax Receipts
T2202A Tuition and Education Credit certificates will be available by the end of February. Students will be able to access and print the T2202A from the VCC website at that time.
Returned Cheques
If cheques are not honoured where drawn, VCC will immediately exclude a student from class and assess a charge on all cheques returned by the bank. Students who pay for tuition or other fees with cheques for which there are insufficient funds or who place a stop payment order on their cheques are only permitted to make subsequent payments by cash, credit card, money order or certified cheque.
A student must pay any fees owing to VCC before reregistering at any campus or obtaining any official record of grades.
A service fee is charged for returned NSF cheques.
Outstanding Debts
Students with outstanding debts cannot attend classes, re-enrol in the future or obtain transcripts of their official records. Outstanding debts are sent for collection.
