Join us for an exciting tour of VCC's award-winning baking and pastry arts department. Learn how to become a professional baker or pastry chef and the exciting opportunities awaiting you in this dynamic field.

You'll find out why VCC is Canada's No. 1 baking and pastry arts school; it trains more students than any other school in the country. Visit our professional baking labs and talk to students in this hands-on program and view a variety of student-made products and displays in our bake shop.

The business and technical writing certificate program is a flexible program consisting of nine one-day courses. Each course can be registered for individually.

English for Health Sciences 1 and English for Health Sciences 2 can help you get the English language entrance requirements that you need for most VCC health sciences programs.

These courses are designed for those who do not have English as their first language.

This information session will be held at VCC's Broadway campus (North Building) at 1155 East Broadway at Glen Drive (one block west of Clark Drive).

ESL Homefront Learning - Students and Volunteer Tutoring

Volunteer for VCC's homefront learning program and gain experience and valuable tutoring skills.

Join us at the upcoming information session to learn how you can become a volunteer. The homefront program tutors English as a second language (ESL) one-on-one in students' homes.

The program provides volunteers with a short ESL tutor training course. Tutors are then matched with adult ESL learners in Vancouver and Burnaby who are unable to attend existing ESL classes owing to family or health reasons.

This session will be held at VCC's Broadway campus, level 1, north building, located at 1120 East Seventh Ave. (one block south of the VCC/Clark SkyTrain station on the Millennium Line).

VCC is a leader in training British Columbians in health.

Join us to find out more information about becoming a registered nurse and the great opportunities in this dynamic field.

Faculty will be available to answer your questions regarding requirements for entry into the BSN program, year-one and year-three. Year-three entry is specifically designed for practical nursing graduates who currently hold a valid licence and have practising hours.

B.C. is currently experiencing a shortage of nurses. Employment prospects for registered nurses in British Columbia are excellent.

The information session will be held at our Broadway campus in our new facility located at 1120 East Seventh Ave. It can also be accessed from our Broadway entrance, 1155 East Broadway.

Rehab Assistant

Learn to become an occupational/physical therapist assistant (rehab assistant) in VCC's new state-of-the-art labs.

VCC's two-year diploma program provides students with the skills needed to work as a physical therapist assistant or occupational therapist assistant in hospitals, nursing homes and private clinics.

Faculty will be on-hand to answer your questions and take you on a tour of our modern labs.
